Family Training: Water Safety for Families with Special Needs Children

Brea Merhar from Blended Aquatics will be presenting on the very important topic of water safety just in time for summer water fun!  Join us for a fun evening of learning how to proactively prevent water disasters for your child with special needs.

Learning Topics will include:

• Drowning facts and definitions
• Risky behaviors around water activities for ASD and IDD populations
• Prevention measures
• Family water safety preparation package

Training will begin at 6:00PM on Tuesday 5/16/23 at Impact Learning & Development (2465 West Chicago Street; Rapid City).  There will be snacks and water provided and a time for socializing with other families at the end for anyone who’d like to stay.
